Who is Furdentify for?

Animal shelters and rescues, especially small and mid-size organizations that have outgrown spreadsheets but can't justify expensive enterprise software.

Is it available now?

Furdentify is in a private beta. We're onboarding shelters a few at a time so we can give each one hands-on setup help. Request early access and we'll be in touch.

How much does it cost?

We're finalizing pricing with our beta shelters, and our goal is to keep it affordable for small organizations. Beta participants get early-access pricing locked in.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Furdentify runs in your web browser on any computer, tablet, or phone. There's nothing to download.

Do I need a computer, or can I use my phone?

You don't need a computer. Furdentify works on your phone or tablet, so you can pull up an animal, check a record, or look something up while you're out on the floor or doing kennel checks. For heavier work like entering a new intake or typing up medical notes, a computer with a real keyboard is easier. The short version: a phone is great for looking things up, a computer is better for putting things in.

Can volunteers use it without changing everything?

Yes. Furdentify has role-based access, so you can give volunteers read-only or limited accounts while staff and admins have full control.

Who can see our data?

Your shelter's data is yours. It's private to your organization and your team. We act as a custodian of your records, not an owner.

Can we get our data out?

Yes. Your records are exportable, so you're never locked in.

Does it handle our public adoptable-pets list?

Yes. You can publish a public page of available animals that stays in sync with your records automatically, so your website is never out of date.
